December 26, 2018 at 12:35 pm #190308yassineafailalSpectatorHi support team, I have 3 issues regarding the usage of my site email template on buddypress touch point emails. on the screenshot below, I can see 3 issues https://www.edemia.fr/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/bpress-translation-email.jpg 1- On the email sent by buddypress, the url of the site is http://www.... I want to have www... like what the email showed me. (print screen in the attached document) 2- On the email sent by buddypress, I want to translate "Hi" by "Bonjour", and to be aligned with the template email seen in wp-admin > emails > customize (print screen in the attached document). 3- On the email sent by buddypress, I want to translate "unsubscribe" by "se désabonner", and to be aligned with the template email seen in wp-admin > emails > customize (print screen in the attached document). Please advise ! thanks for your help. best regards,December 27, 2018 at 11:31 am #190514AvaMemberThe words are coming from buddypress, I checked the buddypress code and it is coming from : buddypress\bp-templates\bp-legacy\buddypress\assets\emails\single-bp-email.php line number 220 . butI see the two screenshots shared by you, in one it is translated and the other it is not. The translated version appears in the WP admin area, so it means there are two locations for the same word, one for front end (email sent) and the other for back end (displayed in customizer ), can you please check if both the locations of the same word are translated.December 27, 2018 at 3:51 pm #190567yassineafailalSpectatorHi Ava, thanks for your feedback. As I explained on my printscreen and my previous email : The template email displayed on wp-admin>emails>customize is well translated https://www.edemia.fr/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/bpress-translation-email.jpg The issue is that the email sent by buddypress does not use what I can see in wp-admin>emails>customize As suggested by Ava, I checked single-bp-email.php and then translated "unsubscribe" but didn't found "hi". As suggested by you, I checked buddypress in loco translate. the words "hi" and "subscribe" were already translated. they are the ones used on the template email diplayed on wp-admin>emails>customize. My issue is that the email sent by buddypress is still not translated. thanks for your helpDecember 29, 2018 at 9:46 am #190744Anshuman SahuKeymasterWell both of these strings are available for translation , you just need to install that loco translate pluign and find and translate those strings . It will be shown translated in emails also . I already use loco translate for buddypress and other templates. I already followed the steps explained in your suggested links.
