Modern Child Theme Without Right Look

Hello! I am writing here because I need some help. So, after several hours of setting up everything on the installation guide, I am finally done, but I noticed that my website doesn't look at all like your demostration of what the Modern theme should look like. I does resemble the default theme a bit, except for the header when you open a course. Some of the difference are that it doesn't have the big slider, the course and student counter, the menú bar on the top has a gray background, the color scheme, etc. I did notice that the menú bar got the gray background after I installed the sample layersliders, but the rest always looked like that. I do have the modern child theme active, I attached a screenshot for you to see that.
