January 18, 2017 at 8:16 am #90555RawMediaParticipantGood day. I am having issues with the WPLMS on my course system. I have made contact with your facebook team and tried to explain the problem, but we didnt come to any conclusion. They advised me to upgrade my version of WPLMS, which i did, but my quiz's backed still looks the exact same. They also said: You're not using the dynamic quizzes v 2 and you're also not using the in-course quizzes which makes the quiz platform a breeze. In the dynamic quiz v 2 you can set that first question comes from tag 1 and the second question comes from tag 2 etc. But this doesnt explain how im supposed to do it. Please can someone clarify as a matter of urgency as my client is starting to get impatient. The main problem we are having is this: The flow is not that intuitive, especially since you need to save the answer and then submit it (and things get more complex when there are stats and results that are visible to the delegate who is using it.) It makes for a rather more complex system, and we don’t want someone to get lost inside the system, and then end up not able to finish due to time. This is a concern, especially as we don’t know how computer savvy some of the people areJanuary 18, 2017 at 10:12 am #90570RawMediaParticipantI urgently need assistance here please. The flow of my course, from quiz to quiz is terribly non-user-friendly.January 18, 2017 at 11:09 am #90582RawMediaParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.January 18, 2017 at 11:28 am #90593RawMediaParticipantplease also note that activating the visual editing side, which allows me to add tags with how many questions should be displayed per tag, doesnt solve my problem as not all the questions are out of the same amount of points. Please advise urgently.January 18, 2017 at 11:46 am #90597RawMediaParticipantThis is the course in question with its allocated quizzes and questions. http://cpdonline.saice.org.za/course/sipdm-fundamentals-and-principles/January 18, 2017 at 12:16 pm #90607H.K. LatiyanParticipantThanks for sharing the credentials and the url to check the issue on your website. I am not sure what your issue is here, because when I checked your website you have not created the quiz properly. => You have set the static questions in each quiz refer: http://prntscr.com/dx5yip => You have also enabled the dynamic quiz but not set any question tags, refer: http://prntscr.com/dx5ypw => If you want to use dynamic quiz then why are you adding the static questions in the quiz, you do not need to add the questions in a dynamic quiz. => You have not set any question tag in some questions. I'll recommend you to first refer our video tutorial on how to set a dynamic quiz, refer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Czvx9Lwf9H4 Also you can enable the in-course quiz feature from the wp-admin->lms->settings->enable in-course quiz. Let me know if you face any issues in this process.January 18, 2017 at 12:26 pm #90611RawMediaParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.January 18, 2017 at 2:17 pm #90682RawMediaParticipantI have created a test quiz, using the tagging as recommended. And it does work substantially better. http://cpdonline.saice.org.za/quiz/test/ My only problem is that not all the questions are out of the same marks, and putting everything into one quiz only allows you to choose one mark that all questions should be out of.: Marks per Question in Dynamic Quiz Also, how would I turn off the 'check results' option in case the client still wants this hidden?January 19, 2017 at 7:15 am #90821RawMediaParticipantPlease can I have some feedback on this as the client is nagging me for an answer.January 19, 2017 at 7:34 am #90822RawMediaParticipantalso, At the end of the quiz, they are also only allowed to get their score as a result. The stats are OK, but certainly not the details of the questions. This is a National Treasury requirementJanuary 19, 2017 at 12:46 pm #90867RawMediaParticipantGuys please, I need an answer, at least tell me if there is a solution so I can tell the client.January 19, 2017 at 12:52 pm #90869H.K. LatiyanParticipantFirst please refer the notice above: http://prntscr.com/dxmchj Do not keep replying on your topic otherwise the last response time is refreshed and your topic goes down in our queue, and then the chances of missing the topic is high. --------------------- Checking website.....January 19, 2017 at 1:13 pm #90876H.K. LatiyanParticipantI guess there is a misunderstanding in the way the dynamic quiz works in wplms. So to explain this I have created a new test course in your website and created a test quiz in it. I used the your created questions in it. Refer the video in my next private reply. As you can see in the video the questions are not meant to be added in the quiz. Only the tags are to be added and set how many questions should come from that particular tag. Please check the quiz that I created in your website and let me know if you face some issue related to this.January 19, 2017 at 1:14 pm #90877H.K. LatiyanParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.January 19, 2017 at 1:32 pm #90881RawMediaParticipantThank you, but this is not answering my questions. In previous comments, I had stated that I setup a new test quiz with the tagging and the flow working fine. However, the problem still stands that not all the questions are out of the same marks as a true/false question cannot be out of the same marks as a multiple choice questions. If we put all the questions in the same quiz, as I did and as you have demonstrated, it only allows you to choose one mark for all the questions to be out of. ie: 1.1 should be out of 2 marks, but 1.2 should be out of 4, etc. This is my issue... how do we keep the flow like this, but allow each question to have its own mark? Also, at the end of the quiz, they are not allowed to see their score as a result. They can see the stats under the stats tab, but they are not allowed to see the details of the individual questions. This is an important requirement for my client. I need to know how to modify the quiz to accommodate for the above. And if the above cannot be done, I then need a suggestion of how to use the system to make this work.
