Buddypress HTML

Hello, I have gone through all necessary steps to ensure buddypress HTML emails should be working -

1. Deactivated all plugins which could be modifying wp
2. edited bp_core functions
3. edited template in customiser and resaved the html template.

All to no avail, my buddypress emails do not send in the html template and do not for alot of other people here on the forum.They send like this which is terrible - https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/2813101/3759b320d19310d04b863cfdb54707c9 This is an issue that really needs to be fixed, notifications for the user and instructor are a huge part of the wplms theme and without it make the site look unprofessional and the emails like spam. You've known about this issue for quite a while now yet nothing has been done about it! I would like a solution or I will be leaving an honest review on themeforest about my disappointment with this theme and it's integration with the CORE PLUGINS you use for functionality.
