June 24, 2019 at 3:13 pm #215311dianaw84SpectatorOk thank you, in a nutshell, exactly for now what should I do to ensure that every time I update the certificate all users will find the certificate updated?June 25, 2019 at 5:43 am #215344MkModeratorWhenever you update a certificate: Each user will have to regenerate the certificate. Ask them to add "?regenerate_certificate" in their profile URL. like this : Profile URL: https://aiocitalia.it/membri/admin/ Regenerate Certificate URL: https://aiocitalia.it/membri/admin/?regenerate_certificate
If still, the certificate doesn't update, that means there will be some browser caching. so please check Alex's last reply for the solution.August 12, 2019 at 7:44 am #221987dianaw84SpectatorHi, thank you for your help. Sorry, but again, I have a problem with the building of a certificate (a problem admin side). I have the "Disable course certificate in image mode" option disabled. If I write the text of my certificate in the editor, clicking on "View pdf" button or "re-generate pdf certificate" and than download, nothing appears. I can't use the PDF Certificate builder, because when I save, the elements return on their primary position, so it isn't possible to use it... I'm worry about it because I don't understand how to solve. This is issue video. Thank you very much. https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cqjlipO9SZAugust 12, 2019 at 7:46 am #221988dianaw84SpectatorThis reply has been marked as private.August 12, 2019 at 1:49 pm #222048MkModeratorThis reply has been marked as private.August 13, 2019 at 6:15 am #222114dianaw84SpectatorOk, but when I click on download, it appears bad... https://aiocitalia.it/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/sample_certificato-sofrologia.pdfAugust 13, 2019 at 1:28 pm #222219MkModeratorI changed certificate Certificato sofrologia, I added text-align CSS for logo image. I also changed the padding. Please set padding as per your need. Note: Whenever you change certificate settings you will have to follow these steps:- Regenerate certificate
- then Download ( it will display old saved data, add any variable in URL to make it different call)

It's a very big problem for me, if in the future I need to edit old certificates in this way is not possible... I don't want to bother you but please I need to solve this problem...thanks for understanding.August 20, 2019 at 12:31 pm #223051MkModeratorI checked your issue and fond that you tried PDF Certificate Builder and clicked on save. we have two way to create certificates.- By using editor and setting CSS.
- By using PDF Certificate Builder.
August 20, 2019 at 4:08 pm #223094dianaw84SpectatorThank you for your answer, but:- I can't use visual PDF certificate builder, because is not possible to center the elements and even if I click on save and then Update, it doesn't save anything.
Using editor and CSS, as said in the previous reply, even if I regenerate certificate, changes don't appear, in this way is impossible to create a certificate, I should create a new certificate every time I want change something (and because some elements display not well even using css is impossible to create a perfect certificate at first time. In fact, even in your example, the logo appears too low compared to how it is arranged in the editor and, having to modify it, I should copy everything to a new certificate and try to change it again using css).
In this way, I can't create and modify any certificate.
August 21, 2019 at 8:27 am #223132dianaw84SpectatorHi, for to have less problems as possible I did in this way:- I create a background certificate with all the additional texts that don't change, leaving a white space where insert the text with shortcodes.
I used PDF Certificate Builder (not the normal editor) to insert text with shortcode.
In this way I can edit after saving. At this point, I would only ask you two last things: 1) There isn't any way to center correctly my text? I read in an another topic where it was written that at the moment with the builder, the elements cannot be perfectly centered, only by eye. In the pdf it appears very different to builder (check screenshots): https://prnt.sc/ovhbjt https://prnt.sc/ovhc72 2) I noticed that inserting the apostrophe in the text, when I download the pdf a square appears: https://prnt.sc/ovhcmn. I have enclosed the Montserrat font file in my certificate (inside there are also special characters). How can I solve? Thank you very much for your support.
August 21, 2019 at 2:55 pm #223212MkModeratorAugust 23, 2019 at 7:41 am #223394dianaw84SpectatorHi, thank you. I would like to use on my PDF certificate Montserrat or OpenSans font, I followed also this guide https://ourcodeworld.com/articles/read/601/how-to-implement-custom-fonts-in-tcpdf and converted my .ttf files and put them in the TCPDF font library, but they have again the same issue. I downloaded FreeSans font from your link and it works well, but if is possible, I would like to use other fonts. Is it possible in some way or is possible to use only font mentioned in your guide? Thank you -
