I am not sure whether you are using react quizzes or the old quiz. In both cases the CSS will be different This CSS will work for old quiz Paste in wp-admin > Appearance > Customize > Custom CSS .single-quiz .quiz_timer canvas {background-color:#ff0000 !important} This white area can't be changed: http://prntscr.com/sqin3y Because we are using HTML Component and the color is already defined in that We are not defining color here
