change general button color only

How can I change the background color of the buttons in general?  I see that the color is tied with the main theme colors.  I was trying to change them without changing the rest of the theme colors.

@dynamicinfluence You want to change the color of a specific page button or for all the buttons? If it is for a specific page then do share page URL

The CSS added are too specific so  am not sure whether my css works for all the buttons or not But you can try this, paste this custom css in wp-admin > appearance > customize > custom css input[type=submit]{background:#ff0000 !important;}
