I do have it where it shows the correct answer, but I want it to also show the explanation.

I just checked that you are not using the react quizzes , which shows the answers .
Please enable the react quizzes from lms settings and check again.
I just went to LMS > Settings and Enable React Quizzes was already checked.
The issue is appearing due to your single-quiz page overwrite .

Please copy the new single-quiz.php file from main theme and use it to replace to your child theme single-quiz.php file .
I replaced that file and wile things certainly look different, I'm still not seeing the explanations.
please add this css in your wp-admin -> appearance -> customize -> custom css :
.course-results .explaination {display:block;}
I added that code and cleared the cache, still looks the same.

Also, once I complete an exam is shows the stats. How can I make it just go straight to the results?
Well yes in the masters exam , you might need to retake that quiz in order for the explanations to show .
I recommend using react quiz .
Coming back to this topic instead of starting a totally new one as it's related, but is it possible to have the explanations show up under the questions on the results page?
As it is, you take any of what we've labeled as exams and after you submit it you get explanations one by one and then you have to click another button to see the actual results. Wouldn't it make more sense to have the explanations for all the questions on the same page since it lists all the questions anyway?
I also noticed just now that when I do a few questions and submit the quiz I'm told how many correct answers I had, but when I click the Check Results button it tells me I have 0 correct. (I don't think this would make a difference, but I only did a handful of questions instead of the whole thing.)
for the first (explanation issue) : can you please share a screenshot of which page you are talking about ?
for the second (the marked answer issue) : also for this we would need a screenshot , if the marked answer is not showing on the check results page link ?
