Well this just can only mean that this product : " INNER CIRCLE STUDENT MEMBERSHIP " or the product for this is deleted or its in drafts.
Create this memberhsip again and its product again you will not see this issue .

So I can remove all course categories from the restrict content section of the membership plans tab? And remove the course categories check box on the edit course page?

IT only works with direct connection with memberhsip level and a important setting which is course primary product .

Courses they had access to before they expired aren't removed. How do I fix this? I see course categories do nothing but add a little box which I will remove
I've read so many posts and I have read it might be best to use woocommerce memberships, woocommerce subscriptions, and woocommerce subscriptions add-on instead of woocommerce memberships add on which I am using? Will that solve the issues?

I noticed that you are using woocommerce subscriptions as well with woocommerce memberships .
Our wplms woocommerce memberhsips addon does not works at all n conjunction with wocommerce subscriptions .
The setting to choose the subscription length will not work :

Either you have to use the woocommerce subscriptions or woocommerce memberships .
There is different addon for woocommerce subscriptions which works differently with woocommerce subscriptions .

But both of these does not work at all in conjunction.
This is why these issues are appearing and access to courses will not be as your will expect it to be.
Woocommerce memberhsips provides ease to select just level and provide access based on the membership status .
while woocommerce subscriptions provides automatic recurring payment .
Its upto you .

How do I achieve what I am looking for?
I need subscriptions because I need monthly payments. I am basically bundling courses into different subscriptions.How come it works perfect for new courses. Everything works perfect there. It only doesnt work for courses they only have access too?
The only other thing I can think of is to have to manually remove memberships when people stop paying. I really hope you can provide a detailed solution to exactly what I am trying to accomplish.
You would first need to choose between either woocommerce subscriptions and woocommerce memberhsips you have links of both and we already told main difference between them .
What you are trying to do can be done with both plugins individually .
I guess you will need just subscriptions .
It would be simple to implement as well . there will be no levels in between just product selection directly .

and in products you will select the courses for which you want to give access to for subscription period .
The problem is that I need the membership plugin because its not just courses but I have other content I need to hide. I found that the issue that was causing the courses not to be available is that membership was put on hold. I now have automatewoo and that solved the issue.
It seems as though everything is working as planned now. I wish I was able to see how the woocommerce subscriptions add on would have been different than using the membership one I am currently using, but it would be a lot of undoing and redoing just to see.
