Disable PDF embed | Make PDFs downloadable

Hey guys, how could I disable the auto embed of s3 linked PDFs? I'd love to put download links and not show the PDF right away. Any chance?

A work around for this is to add the link in the href attribute of the <a> tag. Add a text say download pdf and use the <a> tag whose href contains the link of the pdf.

hmmm... maybe I don't get it but how would the signature and co work in this way?' I assume it's beeing build by entering the shortcode.. so if I just have a link I feel I would end up on the access denied page of S3?

Sorry I got confused there, when you add the s3 shortcode, add the embed =1 parameter at the last and it will become a downloadable link. for example: [wplms_s3....... embed=1 ]
