donate button in header

hi Diana thank you for the reply i would i like it on top right corner in demo 8 header, next to search icon (donate button [green colour] first then search icon)

Demo 8 uses App Header Style and I checked the code and didn't found any hook there on which I can write custom code to show a button next to search icon. If you still want that then you have to customize this header style using Blank Child THeme

does that mean i will have to stop using the adult theme and start all again? and how come i do not get notifications to your reply?

The first thing I want to mention here. I will only assist with you on how to do that but I will not write the code because that not comes under theme support. If I will code for the header, it will be a paid customization No, that's not what Blank Child theme does.
