Doubts regarding the non-automatic mode of evaluation

Hello, I don't quite understand how the 'Automatic Evaluation' option works. When a course does NOT have this option selected, is it not possible to complete the course until an instructor evaluates it? I find it confusing to see that the check-in of the assignments is marked indicating that they have been completed, but the percentage continues to mark 0% and does not allow completing the course, indicating in the pop-up at the end the tasks that must be completed. Wouldn't it be more logical to indicate that they are completed, but are pending evaluation? Thank you

hi progress is just a indication it is not considered when student finished the course
