    For some reason my activation emails will not send. The only that works is the password reset one. I don't have it disabled or anything. I did notice that it was taking up to 24 hours for the emails to sent. I've set up WP Mail SMTP which happily sends out emails. Any ideas?

    hi, wrong configuration in registration: https://prnt.sc/rv9yp5 you have enable skip email verification that's the reason behind emails are not sending. if the email takes 24 hours as you mentioned then the response time of sending email depends on the server it's totally depend on them you need to contact to your server/webhost. here is the tip for the welcome emails: https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/welcome-emails/ you need to enable the setting in registration form google captcha. refer above screenshot. you can make use of this tip: https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/google-captcha-public-and-private-keys/

    Thanks for come back to me. I've unticked skip activation, but still the email doesn't come through. I've sent a test email from WP Mail SMTP and again, that comes through instantly, so the server must be fine sending out emails? With Google Recaptcha, the images in the guide are old and it doesn't look like that anymore. It gives different options.

    Install and configure WP Mail SMTP plugin also checks touch-points in lms setting.

    Please check Another type of emails such as 'WP Mail SMTP test email', 'WooCommerce order emails' and 'manual user registration via WordPress settings' are working or not??

    ***if you are receiving other emails and not only registration activation then

    please try adding this given code in your wplms-customizer.php file in wplms customizer plugin :

    add_filter( 'bp_email_use_wp_mail', '__return_true' );

    Sometimes the problem is, it is going in the spam folder because some hosting providers block the WordPress default mail and keep them as spam. so please check your spam folder.
