you want is specific for students then there are two options :
1 . site lock from wp-admin -> wplms -> miscellaneous : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwxYL080oFQ
Other one is simply disabling the registration and let user see the courses directory , courses are paid in themselves and when user pays for it his account automatically created on the site , so user is paid and has an account on website .
Note that for both you need to enable Synchronise WP with VibeBP Login and Synchronise VibeBP with WP Login from wp-admin -> vibebp > settings.
