Hi, I worked according to https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/how-to-update-visual-composer/ and tried to update EventON plugin. I still get the - EventON is not activated, it must be activated to use! Enter License Now I want to sync all my event with EventON. Pls let me know what else I can perform. Thx

The eventOn plugin will not be activated, it comes bundled with theme and with every update of wplms theme we bundle the latest version of eventOn plugin so that the users can update it to latest version.

The activation only means that you'll get the automatic updates. If its not active then you'll not get the automatic updates but you can use it normally.

Well this is again working fine at my end when I tested .: http://prntscr.com/dcprbt Latest version eventon which provide in theme is 2.4.7 . If your theme is updated to latest 2.3.1 then please refer this tip to update your eventon plugin . https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/how-to-update-visual-composer/ same tip will work to update eventon plugin .
