Fixed size/aspect ratio for course images

I need the courses to look like books so the size should be 6:9. How can I make this fixed for all current and future courses?

Both course pages and list view. Not sure if it matters but we'll use Demo 2 theme.

Please save your image in size which want to show on course pages then upload the image to your media library. After doing this set your course image from Edit course. Refer : http://prntscr.com/kcsn2u

hi sorry if my inquiry wasn't clear. I know I can do that but I want to control the consistency of course images uploaded by other instructors.

If you want to control the consistency of course images then other way is to do with css then image will be crop and it could be look improper.
