Hello, I am a little confused as to how the Groups work in a multisite environment. It appears that I can only create groups at the network level, yet each site in my network will require different groups. Is this possible? Do all sites in the network have to use the same groups? Also, slightly related, if I use the Batches plugin, can I assign a bunch of courses to a group? So all users of this group will be subscribed to the courses in a batch?

Hello, upload this plugin in-network and do not activate it in the network. activate this plugin in the subsite then your group thing will work. refer:

Okay great... I downloaded and installed that plugin, and it seems to be pointing me in the right direction. One problem though, when I create a group in one site, it seems to be duplicated on the other site in my network. Is this to be expected? Is there a way to disable this? I think each site should have its own groups. Thanks, Mike

Make sure bbpress and BuddyPress is not allowed in the network. it should be activated in the subsite. the statement you are referring to, it cant be possible because. every subsite has its own table in the database.
