Help how to create a group of students in a course

Hello, I have a course with 50 students, I want to create 5 groups of 10 students each and assign a leader, is it possible to configure this in WPLMS? Thanks

Hello, Well this is possible with the help of batches plugin . you can create batches of your new and old students like January batch ,July Batch. Batches addon allows you to set batch specific drip feed on same course . So you can apply different drip feeds on same course for student of your different batches with the help of two batches . refer : http://www.vibethemes.com/downloads/wplms-batches/ Note: Batches generally controlled by administrators only or the instructors if they are allowed to do so. If you want that students can also create batches then you have to promote the users as moderator or some other role. So that they can create the batches Thanks,

You can create 5 batches with course connected. Then add members in batch and promote them as moderators. So the moderator can add other members in the batch. Note: when user is added in the batch they will also be added in connected courses too and when user removed from the batch they will also be removed from connected courses too

Basically we are extending the BuddyPress feature for the batch. As you required to create 5 groups with 10 members it is possible and 1 member from the group is the moderator. Yes you can use batch and for file-sharing you can use buddydrive plugin : https://wordpress.org/plugins/buddydrive/ Also please check buddy drive working first Note: when the user is added in the batch they will also be added in connected courses too and when user removed from the batch they will also be removed from connected courses too

Refer the batch docs : https://wplms.io/downloads/wplms-batches/ The setting will be shown in the batch/group page. Make sure to check the related video as well.

Hi, You will find settings in the batch/group page in tabs. Refer the related docs:https://wplms.io/downloads/wplms-batches/ Make sure to check the video. Also, you have to set up the group directory and group layout in 4.x same as the course and members

The latest batch version is compatible with latest wplms and old wplms(3.9.9.x) Both. If you are unable to set up the directory and layout pages. Please create a topic on the 4.0 forum :https://wplms.io/support/forums/forum/4-0-bugs-issues/
