September 11, 2019 at 2:51 pm #225576VVUUREPLParticipantHey Support, I urgently need some help, please. When I access the wplms system as an administrator, I can see courses curriculum, including the unit detail, etc. When a learner log-in, they can only see the heading of the curriculum and no detail under the unit. See the video clip below: https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cqQX2gtp0o Your urgent help will be appreciated as I must demo the site to a client tomorrow, please. Please have a look here: Your settings: http://prntscr.com/p57wuh I tried with and student account and it was working fine. Refer: http://prntscr.com/p5808gSeptember 12, 2019 at 2:08 pm #225700VVUUREPLParticipantHi MK, No, it is not working. Please click on the continuing course/start course button, then it is not displaying the unit detail. I have log-in as a learner. As an admin, it displays fine, but not as a learner. Regards PhilipSeptember 13, 2019 at 12:47 pm #225835MkModeratorI am not able to open the admin panel. Refer: http://prntscr.com/p5o1b0 I found your issue, seems like you have added some code that is conflicting with course units content.September 17, 2019 at 11:12 am #226335VVUUREPLParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.September 18, 2019 at 8:37 am #226507DianaParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.September 18, 2019 at 8:56 am #226508VVUUREPLParticipantHi Diana, no I have not customized anything. You are sharing admin credentials. Please share FTP Credentials or cPanel.October 1, 2019 at 12:54 pm #228396VVUUREPLParticipantDear MK and Mr. Vibe I am extremely frustrated with the WPLMS system and Support. I logged an urgent topic https://wplms.io/support/forums/topic/help-with-units-not-displaying/#post-227863 more than two weeks ago. It was urgent, as I had to do a demonstration to a potential client, but could not do so with the training units not displaying (hence the urgency of the topic). I am not going to go through the topic but I kindly request you (Mr. Vibe) to do so. I cannot run an e-learning business where there are weekly problems with the system and the support is not on an acceptable level. If you review the history of the topic, the quality of support, turnaround time and lack of first call resolution (at first or at least second interaction with the client), then hopefully you will understand my frustration. Dealing with three support team members on a query/topic, where they clearly do not review topic history, is extremely frustrating. MK (after two weeks), now request me to share FTP or cPanel Credentials. This, after I had to demonstrate to support that there is a problem and that the admin credentials requested, are indeed correct - Diana confirmed this? Be that as is it may, a third party host my server and I do not have the FTP Credentials to share nor can I expect them to disclose it. I am sure you are aware of all the IT-related security concerns, and to disclose FTP credentials to a third-party can pose a risk to the server. This happened in the past and resulted in significant downtime and associated cost for the company. So my question is simply, why do WPLMS Support need the FTP Credentials - surely the WP Admin functionality should allow the admin user and or support to make changes and rectify problems? What cannot be done via WP-Admin functionality and the reason for the request now - after two weeks to share the FTP or c-Panel credentials? Even if you can offer a business rationale for why WPLMS Support need the above information, please provide me with an explanation why the user of a live-learning website using the WPLMS System (the core of my business), have to wait more than two weeks for an urgent topic to be resolved? My potential client (a big company with an international footprint), has decided to use another e-learning service provider. Unfortunately, I understand why they made this decision and the impact on my business and reputation is significant. Hence my request to you, as the owner of the WPLMS System (my understanding) to review the topic history and kindly provide me with answers on questions posed. Furthermore, the learningbench site is (275Mb) this huge what van we do to reduce the size please. Looking forward to your reply and resolution of the topic that prevents me from providing learning courses to my clients. Regards
