Hi logan, where can I find the latest original vibe-zh_CN.po file? I checked other language file on my side, there is really this string inside, but not in vibe-zh_CN.po. So maybe vibe-zh_CN.po on myside is not up to dated? In locotranslation, I have already copied the vibe-zh_CN.po file in system path, and deleted the po file in local path according to the transaltion guide on top post. So how can I get back the latest original vibe-zh_CN.po? Thanks

Hello, it is a generated file. when you select the language and convert some string from one language to another. when you click syn and save button the PO | MO file is generated. there are 3 locations in which you can search: 1) loco folder: public html >> your site >> wp-content >> languages >> loco >> theme or plugins 2) global folder public html >> your site >> wp-content >> languages >> theme or plugins. 3) local folder for theme: public html >> your site >> wp-content >> themes >> languages. for plugin: public html >> your site >> wp-content >> plugins >> langugaes.

    Hello,

thats not an issue. it means it has in the theme folder means global folder: https://prnt.sc/qqrwmg

copy this thing into loco then it will appear in the public html >> your site >> wp-content >> languages >> theme or plugins.

if you copy in the loco folder then it will appear here: public html >> your site >> wp-content >> languages >> loco >> theme or plugins

How could you do this: https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cqfQh6ZllK

    In this video,

    1. i have checked the site language from wp-admin > settings > general > site language.
    2. then goto wp-admin > loco translate > theme/plugin > theme name / plugin name.
    3. Copy author file to system file.
    4. the author stands for local file and system stands for the global file.
    5. once your done copying. from now you have to translate a string in global (system) file.

These steps should be followed for all plugins and theme in which you are making any changes.

if it does not have that string that means it is not synced with the pot file. click the sync button it will be updated.
