I can't translate some text

Good morning Logan. first os all, thank you for this beautful and innovative theme. I just baught it 2 weeks ago and untill now everything is fine except 2 issues. 1. I can't translate some text I am using loco translate plugin and when I change a string nothing happen. I am having also problem with course page update. when I login as a teacher and update information on page and click save. I get a message updates saved but when I check no updates are made to the pages or courses. so I need help please
