December 26, 2017 at 4:14 pm #140917SystemaBrazilSpectatorHello, I've tried to improve the speed of my site by following the tips, but wasn't verry efficient. I've download and configure W3 total cache, wp smush, deactivated evanto markert. Is there something else I can do? https://gtmetrix.com/reports/artemarcialrussa.com.br/jtLE5CZh https://tools.pingdom.com/#!/d8gobv/http://artemarcialrussa.com.br Even my other site is also very slow : https://gtmetrix.com/reports/moveabilities.com.br/Db4oC3ne and https://tools.pingdom.com/#!/zhYuh/moveabilities.com.br In this I don't have any courses yet.December 26, 2017 at 4:15 pm #140918SystemaBrazilSpectatorThis reply has been marked as private.December 27, 2017 at 7:10 am #140936Mark MorganSpectatorOkay please make sure that envato market plugin is deactivated in your setup . if not then please deactivate it .It is having some issues with current version of wordpress . refer this tip to deactivate it : https://www.ostraining.com/blog/wordpress/disable-a-wordpress-plugin/ Second step is to install this plugin "query monitor" refer this tip to know which plugin is actually putting load on your server : https://kinsta.com/blog/query-monitor/ Using caching techniques like memcached, opcache on server side might improve some speed . Also try switching to php version 7.0 (not 7.1 ,its unstable and is not compatible with theme ) . Also follow this caching tip : https://vibethemes.com/documentation/wplms/knowledge-base/wplms-with-w3-total-cache/ Deactivate plugins that you dont feel necessary Please also try disabling touch points if you have enabled them from wp-admin -> lms -> setitngs -> touch points . Use jetpack CDN for images .January 2, 2018 at 2:12 pm #141466SystemaBrazilSpectatorHello Mark, The evanto market plugin is deactivated, I've installed query monitor and W3 Total cache and configured it as in the documentation. The touch points are disable and php is 7.0 . I already use jetpack. I've resized some photos as suggested by https://tools.pingdom.com/#!/chdqad/http://artemarcialrussa.com.br and it did improve the speed. But it says something about mimify (http://www.artemarcialrussa.com.br/wp-content/cache/minify/06685.js ,,,) Is it possible to change something to improve the speed? Thank youJanuary 3, 2018 at 12:22 pm #141569H.K. LatiyanParticipantHi, You should use the cdn service for loading the scripts and images like jetpack photon.January 10, 2018 at 5:49 pm #142319SystemaBrazilSpectatorI already use jetpack photon,January 11, 2018 at 10:38 am #142397Mark MorganSpectatorWe've listed all the common method used to improve your website speed, please contact to your server support. thanksMay 15, 2018 at 8:23 am #156703thecurioskySpectatorI tried improving website speed using the steps mentioned in forum but couldn't achieve desirable results. If you could check my website and tell me areas where I can improve my website speed. www.kitaab.co.inMay 15, 2018 at 9:12 am #156727DianaParticipant@thecuriosky, The above methods are general methods. The site Speed depends on the number of factors like traffic on site and other things. Did you try query monitor plugin to check which is actually the main cause for site speedMay 23, 2018 at 11:53 am #158066thecurioskySpectatorI have tried general methods they don't seem to work much. Can you please suggest me hosting specification for better performance. Maybe you can tell me what hosting specifications are used for your demo pages because your demo pages seem to be pretty optimised.May 24, 2018 at 6:22 am #158200DianaParticipant@thecuriosky, We are using right now this for our demos: https://www.knownhost.com/ Hosting specifications are in general any Good VPS plan from any host. you can try WP engine as many of our users are using it.May 24, 2018 at 6:55 pm #158317thecurioskySpectatorI didn't get you but I think you're suggesting me for a VPS plan i.e dedicated hosting? Is that so? They come costlier atlesst for my budget. Anyways, Won't this work on shared hosting? Godaddy economy shared hosting, please have a look and suggest if that will do or if I have to upgrade hosting.May 25, 2018 at 11:17 am #158389DianaParticipant@thecuriosky, Yes, you can use a shared hosting. But as traffic increases on your site. It will lead to site crash because it can not handle that much traffic. That's why we won't recommend that and recommend to go with a dedicated hostingMay 27, 2018 at 5:04 am #158526thecurioskySpectatorPlease check out my website and suggest its areas of improvement. KitaabMay 28, 2018 at 4:54 am #158551DianaParticipant@thecuriosky, Checked your site and not even your front page loading due to jquery errors. This topic is someone else topic. So, you need to create your own topic and we will assist you there
