Link standalone quiz to Instructor & Search all records per Student

Hello, I am having trouble trying to figure out how to review a standalone quiz. I have found multiple topics on how to create a standalone quiz, by not linking it to a course, but how do you permit an instructor / admin to view the standalone quiz reports. The work flow I am looking for is: Student Clicks link to access quiz -> Student submits quiz -> instructor can than view all students quiz results who have previously taken quiz. Is this possible or does the quiz have to be linked to a course for this functionality? --- My next question is: can an instructor or administrator search for a specific student and pull all their history stored in the LMS? eg. courses taken, marks earned per courses / quizzes, badges, certificates ect.
