I want the free courses to be available without login. I thought I have set up the website as such. However, the website still asks people to log into free courses. These two boxes are unchecked: Disable free unit access for the world, only logged in users can view free units. Open Login popup for non logged in users when they click on take this course button for free courses What setting is incorrect? why does it still require log in for free courses?

Hello,

Free units are accessible to all the users by default even the non logged in users.

Non logged in users can open the course and go to the curriculum part, then click on free unit and it will open the unit for them.
make sure you have not added any custom codes related to the free units.

I don't even know how to make custom codes. My free courses require log in. How can I change that?

Hello, if the units are free only then they can access it from the curriculum not by clicking the take this course button because take this course has several checks only then. user can enter into the course. it is accessible. refer: https://share.getcloudapp.com/qGuD85QO
