I thought this was already in v3.9 as it says in the article. Should I upgrade the version then?
yes this was avaialble in the old version 3.x but not in v4 quizzes.
So it is not available anymore in v3?
it is available in v3 but with only old quizzes not with react quizzes

is the code is removed now?

Yes you have permission to create a new quiz and test or you can use the first quiz on the Safeguarding course.

Ok, the developer has now removed the specific code. Can you try to put the 'Submit quiz button only appear on final page' feature in now?
