November 14, 2016 at 12:58 pm #79669ColporParticipantHi, I have set up a new quiz, deleted all dummy ones. And also have one quiz working already with automatically checking the results of a quiz. But my new quiz is not working. When someone has submitted the quiz, it shows no answers at all so also no remarks given. Everything from the website has been updated, including plugins, but still it is not working.. Do you know what to do? Thanks in advance, NilsNovember 15, 2016 at 7:51 am #79818H.K. LatiyanParticipantThis works fine at our test setup. Can you please share the quiz url and the admin credentials with us to check the issue on your website. PS: Please mark your reply as private while sharing the credentials.November 15, 2016 at 9:04 am #79842ColporParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.November 16, 2016 at 3:33 pm #80228H.K. LatiyanParticipantThanks, I am able to check this issue on your site but it does not replicate on our end. Please give me sometime to debug this issue. Thanks.November 18, 2016 at 6:58 am #80537ColporParticipantThanks Latiyan, Were you already able to debug the issue? Please let me know if I should do something from our side. Thanks.November 18, 2016 at 3:32 pm #80702H.K. LatiyanParticipantYes, it seems your server is timing out when we're submitting the quizzes. Can you please check if your database is not corrupted because there is no activity recorded in your site since 4 months. check http://yoursite.com/activity/November 19, 2016 at 7:55 am #80788ColporParticipantHi Latiyan, Thanks for the reply. I might be correct that we did not had any activities for four months actually, as we are still in the building phase and sometimes only check if something works. But because some real users want to start using our platform we should fix this. What can we do if this server timeout is the case? How can we see if the database is corrupt? Is there some kind of re-update for this? Is there any other scenario? Thanks in advance, NilsNovember 19, 2016 at 9:17 am #80818ColporParticipantIn the meantime I will try to fix the database (I found some tutorials).November 19, 2016 at 10:44 am #80827H.K. LatiyanParticipantOk, you can refer this tutorial also for repairing and optimising wordpress database: https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/optimizing-your-wordpress-database-a-complete-guide/November 19, 2016 at 11:56 am #80870ColporParticipantWhat if we cannot repair the database eventually? What are the things we can do? Can we install a fresh database? And what if we do this?November 19, 2016 at 2:53 pm #80896ColporParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.November 19, 2016 at 4:31 pm #80906ColporParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.November 21, 2016 at 3:15 pm #81170MrVibeKeymasterThis reply has been marked as private.November 21, 2016 at 3:21 pm #81172MrVibeKeymasterI found that the timestamp value is not being set in for the quiz question comments. as a result the WordPress query to fetch the latest answer submitted by the user fails and hence we do not see any submitted answer from the student. To confirm that this is not a theme related issue, I posted a sample comment in your post and found that you get an error message while posting the comments, which confirms that the issue lies with the comments section in your WP setup. Please follow below points for help : 1. Please login via PHPMyAdmin and check if your wp_comments table is not corrupt. Also check if the comment_ID is set at auto increment. 2. Check if the comment_date parameter is set to date and default value of date is set to current datetime. 3. If none of the above help, please consult your webhost on this. This is most likely a Mysql related issue and they would be able to help you out.November 22, 2016 at 9:24 am #81237ColporParticipantHi Mr.Vibe, This indeed was the case but not only for comment_date but for a lot of them. It has been fixed now. Thanks for the help!
