    It seems that the search for recipients in a message to be sent is temperamental, and sometimes it will bring up a list, or one or twohttps://youtu.be/-3GpF6M52uI names and sometimes nothing. Please review the video, I have tried as admin and a student.

    after checking the same found these two things in messages http://somup.com/cYQblkXEx4 and this one http://somup.com/cYQblaXEwR please use email for the search this will work we are using BuddyPress native functions so that can be the issue we need to check it further till then please try to use emails for the same

    hi, i have discussed the same with @Alex as this is BuddyPress restriction that in the messages for searching we have to put the entire username we can't search with the letter

    OK - Got It - Thanks Basically it starts searching after the first few characters so it creates the illusion that it should search with a few characters and bring up related accounts.

    yes but will show the result when you type the complete user name i have confirmed this with @ALEX that this is the default functionality of BuddyPress and we are using it already mentioned in my previous reply
