yes, it is because you are using third-party plugins, they are adding more items in it. refer: http://prntscr.com/pkf1e5 you can check this by deactivating your third party plugin. if the container is defind you cant add more items beyond its limit. it will overflow.

Your description was perfect and helped me see what was happening. I recently added Yoast SEO plugin and it added more columns. It was simple to remove some by way of screen options (which I can include later when needed). Resolved
