March 4, 2020 at 2:31 pm #244572SuperDaveSpectatorI have a migraton issue when using MySQL dump and import. Even after full MySQL dump and import to a new server with a different domain after performing a find and replace to all references to all domain I have an issue with page-builder data being lost or ignored. Few questions so I can understand: How is it possible? How is this data stored and where? I.E which database tables. Our site database is quite large, GBs in size, so the site export tool under appearance is not really an option and in my findings, nobody seems to be able to get this tool to work anyways as can be seen by the comments made here https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/wplms-site-import-and-export/ Print screen of empty page builder: https://prnt.sc/rbi2u5March 5, 2020 at 10:30 am #244668VeronicaModeratorhi, can you please share the video of the steps by which I will be able to perform it.March 5, 2020 at 12:25 pm #244679VeronicaModeratorhi, This import and export imports all the stuff available in the wplms if you want to export all the stuff of WordPress too. then you can use these tips: https://help.one.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005585969-Move-your-WordPress-site-to-another-domain or https://www.wpexplorer.com/migrating-wordpress-website/March 5, 2020 at 1:40 pm #244706SuperDaveSpectatorHi, Could you please answer my question in reference to which tables the page-builder data is stored in the WordPress database.March 6, 2020 at 12:33 pm #244843VeronicaModeratorthe data related to page builder stored in the wp_postmeta table.March 18, 2020 at 10:19 am #246184SuperDaveSpectatorOkay thanks, I am going to try to reimport this table only and failing that perhaps we can discuss / work together to resolve this common bug.March 19, 2020 at 12:05 pm #246348VeronicaModeratoryes please.March 24, 2020 at 3:57 pm #247121SuperDaveSpectatorHi, I attempted a direct database export and import of the post_meta table with no luck. Pagebuilder still appears empty after migration. Please advise. ThanksMarch 25, 2020 at 11:38 am #247265Anshuman SahuKeymasterPlease import the whole database including wp_options table . BTW which page builder are you using ? Follow this procedure to migrate the site properly : https://www.wpexplorer.com/migrating-wordpress-website/April 2, 2020 at 4:50 pm #248613SuperDaveSpectatorHi, I have traced the issue down to the encoding format for the WPLMS PageBuilder. The problem only occurs when changing the URL of a website. The problem is caused because the URL will in most cases cause the data to be slightly longer or shorter, resulting in the "s" or size variable to be mismatched. E.g. a:2:{s:11:"layout_html";s:35137:" The layout_html variable "s" would need to be large in our case for each and every pagebuilder entry. Thus, s:35137 would become s:35147 or larger depending on the URL change. Do you have any solutions to this problem?April 3, 2020 at 12:07 pm #248752MrVibeKeymasterWPLMS Page builder is depcreated and will be removed in the next update of the theme. We recommend using Elementor for building pages. For older demos Elementor templates are available in WP admin - WPLMS - Demo swticherApril 3, 2020 at 12:24 pm #248756SuperDaveSpectatorWhilst that's great you are switching to elementor. How do we migrate from one page-builder to the other?April 4, 2020 at 11:03 am #248941Anshuman SahuKeymasterWe have elementor templates for all demos which are not on elementor: https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/elementor-templates-for-demos/
