Please set the announcement widget in instrcutor sidebar from wp-admin -> appearance -> widgets . refer: http://prntscr.com/fzl09j and then goto your profile -> dashboard and send announcements . refer : http://prntscr.com/fzl0yt

Okay that was already planned .We will be working on an addon for twilio to send sms for course announcements .
