Student "My Courses" count mismatch

I want to ask something. I have a student who is only enrolled in 2 courses. Although, if I click "MY COURSES" as this student, I can see 5 courses instead of 2. Is there any explanation about that? UPDATE HERE: Just to mention that this student was an active member in some other courses in the past. That make sense. Please correct if I am wrong, but I understand that "MY COURSES" button counts the active courses but shows past courses too.

My-courses shows all the courses of the user whether active course or expired courses, all will be shown there.
