Hi, Yes you can add subheader go to : wp-admin > appearance > customize > header > header style > choose standard header that provide a top header in your header . Please you use this tip to create standard header http://vibethemes.com/envato/wplms/documentation/theme-guide.html#customiser-header. Add  content in top header go to : wp-admin > WPLMS header > top header Content http://prntscr.com/qrmidf

you need to edit the mooc header style with the child theme. this is the only way to achieve what you desire. this comes under custom feature requests. if you want to make it work for you by us then there will be a nominal cost for this.
