Hi, Please, solve the following question: I am using the Loco Translate plugin. Should I do the translation in the Parent Theme or in the Child Theme? (I have the Child Theme active). Which is the best way, considering that we don't want the translation to be lost with the future updates of the Theme? I expect a prompt response. Thanks in advance.

Yes, you should do the translation in parent theme. In case of theme update , your translation will be lost. So to avoid this please create copy of the translated language to global folder. Please follow this link, it will explain to protect of your translation file in case of theme update, to copy it to global folder. https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/translate-using-loco-translate-plugin/#translateone

Thank you. Let me make three comments / questions:
    1. I have made the copy of the PO and MO files of Themes in GLOBAL, as indicated in the tutorial. All Ok with this.

    2. I have not been able to make a copy of the Plugins files,

because this directory does not exist on my website. See image please: https://prnt.sc/mitj3m

    1. Do I have to make these copies of PO and MO files in GLOBAL every time there is a WPLM update or only this time?
I await your comments. Thank you.

    Hi
    1. You can create a new language file like I shown in screenshot below:
First select you plugin then, http://prntscr.com/mjgf63 and   http://prntscr.com/mjgdzn
    1. Yes, actually when create copies of PO and MO file, it will store safely the files. But when any update will come, that means there may some new strings will be added and you then it require you to translate those. After translating those new strings you need to create copies of PO and MO file in Global again.

    Hi
    1. Yes, you have to do that with every plugin. As i have stated above also that if the update of any plugin came out and there will be some new strings may be also added and in that case of after every update you first translate those new strings and then again make the global file as copy.

    1. Yes, in that case, go to COPY  http://prntscr.com/mjz085
and then you can make a global file of that language.

Ok, when I go here: https://prnt.sc/mjz085 I get a message that the file already exists in that folder. Is that ok? Should I proceed the same? https://prnt.sc/mk3bjf I also thank you for indicating what options I should select in item 3 (Theme Options). I explain it in the same screenshot above. I await your comments. Thank you.
