Hi Guys, I would like you to help me once for all as I am getting frustrated with this translation as I am having more than 1,5 months of hard work and looks like is never finished... and now with the update....almost "killed" me! So, I translated all the po files, created the mo files and sync the translations (to portuguese Portugal). Some string are and some are not translated. I found the strings but what I don't find is any change. Please see attached some prtscr of mine. Advice that could help me and everyone that have this problem (looks like we are a lot): - The correct plugin and/or the correct procedure to translate; - Where are located the files to translate; - What issues can happen and how can we solve them. I read all the foruns, did all the procedures, used all the current and old plugins you told about, etc, etc, etc. I really need your help. Don't know what else to do. Thank you BA

Can you please let me know which strings are not translated ? Also try to sync the translation files before translating them. For screenshots try using prntscr.com for sharing.

Hello, About something that helped me lately was the String Locator Plugin that shows the path, plugin and line where the string/phrase is. That is why after so much work looking for this and that, with this plugin I realized that everything is translated. Here goes the link http://prntscr.com/cw4ldl Thank you

For BuddyPress strings: https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/translating-buddypress-strings-activity-notification-messages-friends/ For profile field labels : Go to WP Admin - Users - Profile fields section. refer this :

Hi, Thank you for the profile strings labels, that's solved. But, again I already installed codestyling and it seems that is not working as it should be. I'll explain: To add a language: - Add new Language - Choose from the board pt_PT - Press create po file button Nothing happen.... But if I refresh the page I can see the file was created To Scan: - Scan - The board comes up and press scan now button The plugin doesn't do anything and the scan is not done, even if I refresh the page. Is there any other way to translate that? Thank you for your help

Hi guys, I made up some of the translations using Loco. Only the dropdown list, when I click in my name, is missing translation. Don't ask me why but I didn't do anyhing different from before. Thank you.

Hi guys, Unfortunately everything went back again and nothing seems to work with this buddypress thing. Codestyling doesn't work as I said before. It is disable. What is wrong with this? Or it works or not! The temporary user admin is still active if you want to give a look. Thank you BA

Related with all that was said earlier I found the following: - I managed again to change some of the strings but FRIENDS and GROUPS... nothing! - My strings translation, because of some kind of "ghost", disapear from one hour to the other... I'm tired of translate all over again so many times the same files... - I changed the files permissions to 755... looks like it worked for some strings... Thank you

    1. Download the translation files from here: https://codex.buddypress.org/translations/ 2. Upload the translations as recommended here : https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/customizing/buddypress-in-your-language/ 3. Install loco translate. 4. Re-sync files in Loco translate if required.

Hi Guys, I have solved it earlier. At the moment I have 2 files .po in buddypress language. I don't know how it went there but it's working and that's what I need. ... "if your team is winning don't swap players" as we say! Cheers!
