Hello There,
I looks like WPLMS 4 is not optimized for Elementor:
1. The ‘edit with Elementor’ feature does not work until the service worker is disable.
2. The course category directories do not work on custom header/footer for Elementor:
3. The course level directories do not work on custom header/footer for Elementor:
4. The dropdown menu does not work on custom header – you can add any page as a dropdown menu, and try to open it. It won’t work. Please advise. I really need these features from the site to work according to your demo sites.
Thank you,
1 . well yes this is an issue , service worker is a modern technology and elementor still working on old one so elementor simply does not works with it .
you have disable service worker , edit page then enable it again ,2 . Well yes this is an issue with elementor and buddypress itself , elementor does not works well with the bp pages and failed to override our template header .
To fix it you will need to remove the course directory page from wp-admin-> settings -> buddypress -> pages -> course .But this will mean the course category redirect to directory pages will not work then . So this is a limitation we have .3 . working since I followed the above https://prnt.sc/10g4yis
4 . Well we checked this up and disabled all additional plugins and service worker as well but it did not work , I guess this is issue with elementor itself .
Please try contacting elementor pro support author for this.Well the issue in setting up the directory pages for category and levels is that your elementor header will not work , coz it needs the course directory page need to be selected in buddypress -> pages .
https://www.academy.virtualx.tv/course-cat/fet/ is showing the same content which I think is due to child theme taxonomy-course-cat.php file conflict , removing it from child theme would show the courses there .
Ok I made it work like demo 2 by disabling the course category/level redirect from wplms -> course manager and deselecting the all courses page from wp-admin -> settings -> buddypress -> pages -> course
