YEs this is possible .With the help of child theme we will add a page template to hsow the Blog posts from a certain category . Please check the path for adding the css .1. then just switch to default theme on new host . Note that after switching themes widgets and menus gets reset which is a default wordpress behavior. you just need to set the widgets and menus in new site . This would be the best way to migrate your site .
