I figured out the problem: basically I edited the course switching back to the standard Wordpress editor. In this way I found that the texts created with Elementor was duplicated in the standard editor field. Cleaning it solved the issue.
I think there was some problematic Elementor version that created the problem, now I'm using the latest Elementor and Elementor Pro releases and everyting works flawlessy.
So I can say they are compatible with WPLMS.

I forgot to ask, since all the four courses homepages (each one belonging to a different category) are created exactly the same, why the issue appears on 3 out of 4? Shouldn't it affect all of them?
Also, the problem occurs only in the directory view for 3 out of four categories. If you open each course everything is fine.
To me it looks something related to the directory view.

You mean that Elementor Pro is not compatible with Wplms, or the actual version is not?

I have restored from a previous backup and the problem gone away. I also updated to batcj plugin 4.1 and it is still working, maybe there was a conflict with some other plugin; anyway i'm unable to replicate it at the meoment.
So we can close. Thanks anyway for your support.

Latest update: the folks at BadgeOS have confirmed it's a bug of the plugin, so they will release an updated version within 2 weeks.
It would be great if you can send me the old plugin. I don't think we aren't violating anything, since we both have a valid license.

Unfortunately I haven't access to the older plugin version, so I cannot test myself.
I have informed BadgeOS as well. Hopefully we will get to a solution
1.3 came out about a month ago, together with BadgeOS 3.6. With the upgrade, they moved Open Badge support from the social share plugin to the main plugin, I would guess it is related to some bad coding.
Btw I have 1.3 installed, and I'm experiencing the same issues. It's weird that anyone else haven't got into the same errors.
The folks at BadgeOS have requested me the credentials to login to my site; unfortunately it happened 24 hors ago but no action has beet taken till now. I hope something will move on their side, anyway I'm pretty sure it's related to v1.3 alone, or in conjunction with WPLMS

I opened a ticket today at BadgeOS, not sure if they will be helpful but it's worth a try.
I'm interested to find out a workaround as well, any chance to get some feedback?
