Hi Logan,
I tried placing the purchase code in and got this message: https://prnt.sc/qwzic5
Is there a way of disconnecting this support account to allow a re-connection of a new account?
Thank you in advance. This is such a valuable step for us!
Yes, I see that it will show all topics.
I am simply wondering what the easiest plan would be to ensure that someone cannot view and participate in forums that they are not enrolled in.
I know that I can look on the Buddypress forum, but I was thinking that since your theme is the one that makes use of their plugin to have private forums for a course, that you would have somewhat of a solution to ensure that this restriction exists. My concern with being sent to their forum is that it is a free plugin, so I may not have an answer for my client for an indeterminate amount of time.
So I am simply looking for the best solution :)
I've actually enrolled the above user (that I gave you access to) - in one course:
Boot Camp
You can see on this page that you see a discussion from the Masterclass forum, and you can contribute to it as well:
https://leadincomplexity.com/forums/forum/community-forum/

I'm doing a test with a user who is only enrolled in one course: The Bootcamp course
Okay - I've connected all of the forums with courses, and courses with forums.
https://prnt.sc/qr0w90
https://prnt.sc/qr0wse
But that user can see, click on, and contribute to a discussion from the Masterclass course. And that forum is set to private as well (I don't know if that makes a difference)
Why is this being allowed. What can I do to stop this?
Thanks, I actually ended up using a plugin that allows you to make edits within the customizer, and it is working quite nicely: https://wordpress.org/plugins/kadence-woocommerce-email-designer/
thank you, that worked :)
thank you, this is resolved :)

Hi there. I have a related question: Can I use existing units from a course in another course?
Thank you! I'll check that out :)
Is there no code for me to alter (even in a plugin) to switch that to another number? I don't care if we have to keep updating after software updates. It would be great to be able to display a few more students. If you even know which .php file that is in - that would be great :)
Please, I think you didn't understand the question - the email is not actually being sent to the person who the course is being "gifted" to. If you like I can send you a 100% coupon to try it out. The Woo order gets processed - but no email sent to the prospective student.
Hi, (sorry - I send that last reply a bit soon)
I just tried to gift the course, and "the gifting" process worked, in terms of payment being processed - and there is a WooCommerce order in the dashboard. BUT an email was not sent to the recipient email address.
I did this twice, to two email addresses. Neither of them has been received by the gift recipient. So as a result no user has been made in WP (and the senders account shows no gifts in their profile:

Okay,
We'll try that gift the course plugin - do you think that will solve it moving forward? When a single person is purchasing for other people?
Also - for the users that are already in WP, but I cannot manually add them to the course. What do you think is the best thing for me to do? Should I delete the user, and then create them as new user - then add them to the course?
thanks! Niki
