Thanks Scott. Then, is it possible to REMOVE COMPLETELY this section FOR ALL USERS via CSS (hide the class) , via customization (customizer) or even hardcoded? I'm using WPLMS for corporate training, and there is no gain in employees seeing each other marks/grades (as a matter of fact, it's completely undesirable). Thank you again. Regards, Rodrigo

Hello Scott, Sorry, I don't think I explained myself very well... The leaderboard is already hidden. The problem is that any batch member can press the button "Get Stats" from "Course Specific Statistics" (and select a course from the combo box) and see the other batch members grades for that specific course from the batch. 1) How can I configure it to just show ONLY his grades or 2) how can I remove this feature completely for common batch members (non-admin and non-moderator)? Thank you again. Best regards, Rodrigo

Hello Logan, Regarding "instructors being able to check certificates of students from his courses": You suggested a solution via backend access... This solution is not feasable for me because of 2 issues: 1) Instructors in my website don't have backend access (even if I give them this access, there is issue "2" below) 2) Suppose the instructor has 200 students in a course and he wants to print a certificate of a specific student. The solution you gave me implies that the instructor will have to SEARCH all the 200 images for the correct one... Do you suggest another way (via dashboard or via student profile) to achieve this preferably not using backend access? Thank you. Best regards, Rodrigo

Hello Alex, Just to make clear that it was another user that wrote the last two messages on this thread. For me, as I said before, the auto update worked! You could've closed this thread. Thank you. Rodrigo

It's working. The problem is that I wasn't filling the username field. The video show the field blurred (I didn't even notice that the field was there), so I assumed that just clicking the button was enough. My suggestion: 1) Edit the video so that the "username" field is visible and you point out that it must be filled and/or 2) Display a page with error message pointing out the user didn't fill the username. My 2 cents. Thanks. Rodrigo

Hello Logan, thanks, that's exactly what I asked! But I would like to ask another question related to this subject:
    • Is it possible to schedule a periodic e-mail as a reminder to students that don't start and/or don't finish a specific course? For example: send an e-mail once a week?
The reason is that some of our courses can't have expiry dates. Thank you. Rodrigo

Hello Logan, thanks for the reply. In regard to what you've said, i know we cannot avoid this kind of behavior (in this case the employee is willing to share his data, so it's his problem). What we need is to make sure that an employee could not access documents of another employee using some plugin or some specific configuration. I know that buddydrive has a lot of privacy configurations (public, private, friends only etc). But I have some questions about it: 1) Is it possible to the instructor add files directly to the buddydrive of a specific student? 2) In the case (1) is affirmative: can he set its privacy so that only the instructor and the student can access it (and logically administrators)? 3) In the case (1) is negative, do you know/suggest any other solution/plugin so it can be achieved? It's important for us that these files could be accessed via student dashboard. Thank you again. Best regards, Rodrigo

Hi, just to rephrase my question in the last message: I want to be able to assign ANY GRADE/MARK for a manually evaluated quiz which the student submitted WITHOUT answering any question (i know that if he had at least answered 1 question I could assign any mark for this question, but it's NOT the case). How can I achieve that? I'm willing to use SQL commands directly in the database if there is no other way: I only need some advice! Thanks again.

Ok, I understand this is an open issue, but do you suggest any "low level" solution (e.g. insert lines directly in the database table with fake marks). As I said before, when a student submits a completely blank quiz the instructor is unable to assign any marks to it. And this happened a few times, and the instructor wants a report with ZERO as the total mark for this quiz instead of N.A. (and also remove from the "pending correction" status). Thanks.

Any news? A more serious problem for manually evaluated quizzes: as you know, when I student leave a question blank the instructor CAN'T assign any mark for it. So, when a student leaves ALL the answers blank, the instructor can't assign any mark for any of the questions. The final mark should be ZERO, but the system doesn't allow the instructor to assign any mark and the quiz status will remain "pending" forever! When do you think this problem will be solved? Thanks.
