roathSpectatorHello Alex, I still have the same problem at my website. Just as a recap, my course is structured as follows:
- Just one section, with 3 units:
First Unit is a quiz, WITHOUT auto-evaluation and NOT CONNECTED to the course. That's because I don't want it's marks to count to the final score of the course.
Second Unit is a video class.
Third Unit is a quiz, WITH auto-evaluation and CONNECTED to the course. Only this quiz counts to the final score.
I've configured that one unit must be finalized in order to advance to the next one. And that's the source of problem: when a student submits the first quiz, the "NEXT UNIT" button DOES NOT APPEAR, so that the student is "locked" in the first unit. It only "unlocks" when he REFRESHES the page (then the "NEXT UNIT" button appears!!!! I did what u recommended: I created a new unit that a included BEFORE the first section, but the problem persisted. Please, what else can be done? Thank you. Best regards, Rodrigo
roathSpectatorHello again, Logan In this thread https://wplms.io/support/forums/topic/buddypress-how-to-remove-course-related-activity/ the user had a similar problem and, apparently, Diana has solved but tagged her reply as private. Could you show me her answer please? And also in this thread https://wplms.io/support/forums/topic/disable-course-join-status-updating-in-activity/ Latiyan wrote 'customizer' code that HIDES a specific activity (code below). Maybe I can modify this code to hide the activities that show the marks/grades/results of the students, right? Could you help me on that? add_filter('bp_course_record_activity','custom_hide_course_start_activity',1); function custom_hide_course_start_activity($args){ if($args['type'] == 'start_course'){ $args['hide_sitewide'] = true; } return $args; } This will hide the start course activity from your website. Thank you. Best regards, RodrigoroathSpectatorHello Logan, Thanks for the answer, but it was not what I mean, sorry. I would like to hide FOREVER the results of the test for the student, even after the course completion. He could see the final result of the course but not his answers nor the correct answers. Is it possible? RodrigoroathSpectatorHello, "we have only this. goto wp-admin > wplms > buddypress > restrict activity view." But this disables all activity information from other students! We would like to restrict just 2-3 activity types (the ones that actually shows the grade of the quizzes and courses). Don't you have any workaround for this? "or you can delete that particular activity from admin section for that particular user." That's really unfeasable to individually delete these activities for each user! Don't you have a script code that excludes theses activities from appearing in the feed? Thanks again, RodrigoroathSpectatorHello Diana, Thanks for the link, but I was expecting a more "integrated" solution. For example, when I set the stock to "Sold Out", the Course "Enroll button" doesn't change, i.e. WPLMS still allow it to be added to the cart! Only on the Cart page comes a message saying that the Course couldn't be added. I was expecting a better integration: once sold out, the button "enroll" changes to "Sold out" and becomes unclickable. Is it possible? RodrigoroathSpectatorHello Diana, Changing this option (in the picture you sent) does not hide it from the form: it only prevent the user of changing the field privacy setting. I would like to hide it in order to make the registration form more "clean". Do you have a CSS code that could do that? Thank you again. RodrigoroathSpectatorThanks. Do you have any recommendation of plugin that integrates well with wplms? Should the plugin be specific for buddypress? How can I fix this? In other words, how can I set a course without any quizzes that allows multiple "retakes"? Maybe ommiting the "Finalize button" for that specific course, it makes more sense as it'll never be "finalized". Thank you. Best regards, RodrigoroathSpectatorWhen student clicks FINALIZE it changes status to COURSE UNDER EVALUATION and it locks access.roathSpectatorPlease, could you be a little more specific? Sorry if this is a recurrent problem, but I've searched the Forums and I wasn't able to solve this. When I reset the student, I can start the course (from the "course page") and when I press "Finalize Course", I return to the Course Page but cannot reenter the Course.
