May 1, 2017 at 12:54 am #109719dreamcatch22SpectatorHello, I love the theme and can't wait to launch my website but have one major problem. It is too slow & sluggish. I have everything running the way I want it too but am very disappointed with the speed of which it operates. I thought it was my hosting company so I even upgraded my hosting to get better resources. But still the same results. I was hoping you guys could go in and see if anything is wrong. W3 Total Cache is enabled with the correct recommended settings. The host company (fastcomet) is pretty reputable and haven't given me any issues before and can't seem to figure out the issue either. Would love any advice or help you guys can give. Thank you. Cheers.May 1, 2017 at 12:57 am #109720dreamcatch22SpectatorThis reply has been marked as private.May 1, 2017 at 2:53 am #109725dreamcatch22SpectatorHere is what my host help said: We have investigated the matter further with regards to the current and potential optimisations for your application specifically, as below you will find the loadtime before said changes made. https://tools.pingdom.com/#!/do8NKF/learn.studyhubb.com As well as after the integrations and re-configurations from our end. https://tools.pingdom.com/#!/bwbK9C/learn.studyhubb.com As what we would like to advise, should you wish to optimise your application further for better overall performance and loadtime, is to contact a certified web developer for more information and possible review, specifically when it comes to reconfiguring your application to be applicable with the PHP version 7.0, as it will greatly boost the overall performance and loadtime, as you can change at any time through the Cpanel > Select PHP Version, however the current state of your application does not support said PHP Version and will require a core reconfiguration by a certified developer. With the above in mind, in case you require any additional assistance, feel free to contact us at any time. Kind regards, Leon C. Technical Support TeamMay 1, 2017 at 2:29 pm #109842Anshuman SahuKeymasterYup your host is right php 7 really helps in boosting the site performance . Apart from these some server technologies like memcached and opcache will also help in boosting speed . They key thing is to check which plugins are creating load on your server which you can test this by using this plugin : https://wordpress.org/plugins/query-monitor/ How to use it : https://wptavern.com/query-monitor-a-remarkably-comprehensive-debugging-plugin-for-wordpress Also try deactivating third party plugins in your site .May 1, 2017 at 6:33 pm #109868dreamcatch22SpectatorI have not downloaded any other third party plugins besides the ones you guys recommend. I also have enabled memcached and opcache on my server but still am getting very sluggish results. I can't even access my admin dashboard. Not sure what the point of downloading another plugin telling me which plugins are creating load because it doesn't really solve the problem. I downloaded the plugin but still can't see any data because my admin screen takes forever to pull up. I paid for the extra support and would love to see some of that great customer service. Please advise on any other tips. If I can't use my site than I would like a refund back and can take my business elsewhere. Even though I am a huge fan of WPLMS. I have seen a lot of other issues about the speed and can't find any guide or documentation,May 1, 2017 at 7:30 pm #109874dreamcatch22SpectatorIn fact, the website has speeded up and is performing but I still cannot access the admin dashboard. I thnk their is a caching conflict and Can not sem to resolve it.May 2, 2017 at 2:57 am #109892dreamcatch22SpectatorI have talked to my host and confirmed that the cache was causing problems. After uninstalling the W3 total cache everything started working but slowed down the site. Can you please configure the proper settings for the cache please and thank you so much.May 2, 2017 at 3:21 pm #110063Skywalker [ ex VibeThemes]ParticipantPlease update your site to the latest version 2.8 as there was some issue with envato plugin which caused the wp-admin to not open. So, kindly manually update your theme to the latest version. It will fix your issue. https://vibethemes.com/documentation/wplms/knowledge-base/manually-updating-wplms/
