June 28, 2017 at 4:14 pm #118790punkandchoopParticipantHi, I've just noticed that the mobile view of WooCommerce product pages and cart on my site is not rendering correctly. The general /shop store page listing all products is correct but when any individual product page is clicked, issues are created with menu and login views. I cannot seem to find settings for changing the menus or sidebars for these pages. I will provide site information and credentials in private reply. Thank you for looking into this with me.June 28, 2017 at 4:22 pm #118792punkandchoopParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.June 28, 2017 at 5:56 pm #118797punkandchoopParticipantI have an update as I've been working on this today. The issue does seem to be bigger than I thought. Site pages had appeared to be rendering correctly in mobile view, however, if you hit 'refresh' while in mobile view, the page will load incorrectly and have many formatting issues (just like the WooCommerce product and cart pages).June 29, 2017 at 1:27 pm #118875H.K. Image 1: This is view of top navigation within WooCommerce individual product pages and what all sites pages turn to when hitting refresh: https://wp.me/a7kdVC-1HZ Image 2: This is view of bottom navigation with above conditions: https://wp.me/a7kdVC-1HT Image 3: This is the another view of the homepage after hitting refresh (scrolled down from top navigation): https://wp.me/a7kdVC-1HV Image 4: Another view of incorrect formatting from homepage after hitting refresh: https://wp.me/a7kdVC-1HX Image 5&6: This is to show you two formatting errors with the mobile view of the homepage before hitting refresh 1) the top collapsed menu is sitting just below the logo and will not expand when clicked on: https://wp.me/a7kdVC-1HW and 2) this shows how the text in the feature image becomes truncated cutting off the "Enroll" button that can be seen in the desktop view: https://wp.me/a7kdVC-1HY Thank you for reviewing; will look forward to your thoughts. Happy to provide additional details if needed.June 29, 2017 at 5:31 pm #118946punkandchoopParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.June 30, 2017 at 1:06 pm #119022H.K. LatiyanParticipantHi... I checked your website on an android device and on Iphone 6 plus device but was unable to replicate these issues, refer: http://prntscr.com/fq0eor Is there some particular scenario when this issue occurs ? I tried opening your cart page, homepage, shop page and product page, all of these pages opened correctly. Is there some other page where the issue is occuring ?June 30, 2017 at 1:35 pm #119031punkandchoopParticipantLet's start with the homepage, please confirm: 1) Does the top navigation work for you? I am unable to expand the mobile menu. 2) Are you able to see the "Enroll" button or is the feature text truncated (please compare against the view on a desktop). 3) Please hit refresh on the homepage - does the format get lost and look like the screenshots I provided?June 30, 2017 at 2:49 pm #119058H.K. LatiyanParticipantHi... Yes all of these are working fine from here when I check.June 30, 2017 at 6:59 pm #119073punkandchoopParticipantWhat version of operating system are you using for iPhone? After having more people test this on our end, here is a pattern that we found. Looks like it might have something that happened between 10.2.1 and 10.3.1 version update that caused the issue. Here are the results of 5 testers all using iPhones (we didn't have android testers to test versioning issues there):
- Tester 1 = Version 10.2.1 = Works
- Tester 2 = Version 10.3.1 = Broken
- Tester 3 = Version 10.3.2 = Broken
- Tester 4 = Version 10.3.2 = Broken
- Tester 5 = Version 10.3.2 = Broken
July 1, 2017 at 2:33 pm #119146H.K. LatiyanParticipantHi... We have version 10.2.1 and it works fine, we have not checked wplms on 10.3 versions. Please give us some time to check this.July 6, 2017 at 2:31 pm #119831punkandchoopParticipantHi, have you been able to check wplms on 10.3 versions? This does continue to be a significant issue for us. Thank you in advance for providing an update.July 10, 2017 at 11:42 pm #120366punkandchoopParticipantI am concerned that I have not yet received an update on this issue. Our mobile site is significantly compromised. Menu navigation and student login links do not work in addition to the above screenshots of formatting issues. Until I hear from you, I don't know what direction to take. Your support has been stellar to-date so I am left confused at the delay with providing updates to this issue. Please share your thoughts on what is going on and if you have tested the later version of the operating systems. Thank you.July 11, 2017 at 9:58 am #120452H.K. LatiyanParticipantHi... Sorry for the late reply here, yes there is issue with IOS later versions but unfortunately we do not have any solution to this right now.July 11, 2017 at 11:57 am #120474punkandchoopParticipantThank you for this update. What are my specific options now? What do you recommend? The site is paralyzed with this current theme (7o% of my users/visitors are mobile; percentage using later versions will only continue to increase). Is changing theme away from WPLM my only (unfortunate) option? Please have another solution. -
