November 3, 2017 at 12:29 pm #134616dantwahSpectatorHi, I am using wplms with woocommerce subscriptions and pmpro membership. At present when a subscription is renewed in woocommerce for a second the subscription is paused. at this instance the courses assigned to user get deleted. A second later the woocommerce subscription is waiting for payment and goes back to active until payment is received. Problem here is that at each renewal the courses assigned to a user will be deleted despite the fact that they still have an active subscription. This is very inconvinient. Is there a way to keep the courses assigned to the user when a subscription is paused? So only delete people from a course if they subscription is actually cancelled? Kind regardsNovember 3, 2017 at 2:18 pm #134639H.K. LatiyanParticipantHi, Your observation is correct, I am assuming the following scenario: Your courses are connected with PmPro membership and your membership level is connected with woocommerce subscription for auto renewal. When auto renewable takes place at that time the PmPro membership is canceled by PmPro plugin and since the membership is canceled therefore we remove the users from the courses connected with that membership. This is because ideally the users should not be able to access the course and should not be enrolled in the course if their membership has been canceled. Therefore you are observing this scenario. ------------------ We cannot remove our code for removing the users from the course if the membership is canceled, as this is the ideal situation.November 3, 2017 at 3:19 pm #134649dantwahSpectatorThanks for the quick response. I see the issue here. It would be a good thing however to get your courses back when you re-active or resubscribe. Now this record is deleted. Would it be possible to get this functionality? Or as a workaround, it could be possible to put a time check in. So only delete pmpro account if subscription is not reactivated in coming 3 hours. Would some minor thing like this be possible? Generally people don;t really like to lose their courses and progress. Hope you can help on this one. Kind regards!November 6, 2017 at 1:35 pm #134840H.K. LatiyanParticipantHi, We cannot change this, because if a user cancels his/her membership then that user will still be able to access the course for 3 hours, which is wrong. -------------- When the user is removed from the course then his/her course progress is not lost. You can even test it by removing yourself from a course from the course admin and then add yourself again in that course, you'll notice that your course progress is not lost. Removing a user from the course and again adding him/her will only change the duration for that user and the rest of the course progress remains the same.
