December 16, 2015 at 9:10 pm #14237mcucattoParticipantI'm really quite upset. I do not know if I'm too stupid, but despite reading all the forum posts and watch the videos, I could not publish the certificate of my course I like it. Today I dedicated the whole day to it and I am very tired. I have little (or no) knowledge of CSS and buy the topic did not know it would be so difficult to publish a certificate. The fact is that I need help because I chose to change the subject (OptimizePress) precisely because of quizz and certificate issuance. And I have to confess that I am very discouraged with the choice of WPLMS, I hope to be wrong. I am sending the print screen and if necessary I could pass the data to access the admin panel. I'm sure you can help me. Tks in advance MurilloDecember 17, 2015 at 8:41 am #14332Anshuman SahuKeymasterWe know that it is difficult to create the certificates for users who do not know much css . Can you please share admin credentials and site url to check this ? PS : mark reply as private while sharing the info . I would also like to notify that we are revamping the certificate in the next version of wplms .December 17, 2015 at 11:42 am #14361mcucattoParticipantHi, Alex, I would like to thank you for your prompt reply. I really need to finish it as fast as possible. Certificates will be in A4 and landscape format. If there is an image size that is best I can redo the background. Thank you so much. http://www.cursos.sociedaderegressao.com.br/wp-admin Username: mur135 Password: n3Z815kkcgWJDecember 18, 2015 at 1:05 pm #14559Anshuman SahuKeymasterI have created a certificate please check .December 18, 2015 at 2:34 pm #14573mcucattoParticipantAlex, Please, check the image. It seems to be misconfigured. It is with two pages as well. Thanks a lot. MurilloDecember 19, 2015 at 7:02 am #14654Anshuman SahuKeymasterI could not found any issue woth the certificate of your's : http://prntscr.com/9fyiw4 If you are trying to print it in landscape mode then adjust the height width of the certificate.December 21, 2015 at 5:24 pm #14999mcucattoParticipantI'm so sorry, but I can't beleive that you not found any issue. Please, check your image. I am attach your image with yelow marks, the certificate should be aligned at the center and without margins. Logically if I sent to you an image in A4 format and in landscape position the certificate should be like that. I tried to adjust the height and width of certificate, but unfortunatly didn't work (please inform if is in correct setting position, and if it's possible what the correct dimensions in px). Please, if is better I used an image as portrait, please, tell me <span style="line-height: 1.5;">the height and width in order to has a better adjustment.</span> I would apreciate that your certificate module like the Moodle, it's easily to manage. I'm realy boring yet. Tks and I'm waiting your answer. MurilloDecember 22, 2015 at 11:22 am #15107jflsznf2SpectatorHello, do You have an example of css code (in a file, etc) and a in-depth tutorial for the certificate?December 22, 2015 at 1:03 pm #15123mcucattoParticipantHi, thank you for answering me. The CSS was made by Alex: .mycustomcertificate .mycertificate_student_name{ position:absolute; text-align:center; top:100px; width:100%; } .mycustomcertificate .mycertificate_student_name+p{ position:absolute; text-align:center; top:200px; width:100%; } .mycustomcertificate .mycertificate_course{ position:absolute; text-align:center; top:220px; width:100%; } .mycustomcertificate .mycertificate_course + p{ position:absolute; text-align:center; top:280px; width:100%; } .mycustomcertificate .mycertificate_student_marks{ position:absolute; text-align:center; top:300px; width:100%; } .mycustomcertificate .mycertificate_code{ position: absolute; text-align: center; top: 320px; width: 100%; } The Certificate must be in A4 Landscape format - According attachment certificado regressao.pdfDecember 22, 2015 at 2:33 pm #15170jflsznf2SpectatorThank You and good luck :)December 23, 2015 at 7:27 am #15246Anshuman SahuKeymasterHI mcucutto ,I have adjusted some height and wodth in your certificate .Please check if it is ok now . I would also like to inform you that we are revamping the certificates module in wplms . There will be templates of certificates and also a visual builder for the certificate .December 23, 2015 at 7:27 am #15247Anshuman SahuKeymasterPlease also note that the certificate preview and printing also depends upon the screens resolution of the user .December 28, 2015 at 12:29 pm #15852mcucattoParticipantAlex, First I would like to thank your answers, but unfortunately I still did not get the template I like. It may be that I am not able to make myself understood because of language and I apologize for that. The last setting you made is good in relation to the positioning of the text, but does not answer as to be in A4 and landscape. Send to you two annexes. One that demonstrates how is leaving certificate in WPLMS (yellow marks are white areas that should be filled, plus there is a total of 3 pages, and the pages 1 and 3 in white). The second file are samples of how to do today manually certificates and how they should be in WPLMS. I suggest that if there is any doubt we can make an appointment by Skype because this will be my last attempt before leaving the WPLMS template. Skype: murillo.cucatto Thank you so much. MurilloDecember 29, 2015 at 11:38 am #16039Anshuman SahuKeymasterAs of now certificates is a real big issue in wplms . We are using light script that runs on client browser and take screenshot of the html generated as the certificate loads in popup and this image is used as the certificate in wplms .There is limitation in the script that it cannot handle the orientation and margins in the print .the current script is dependent on the browser and the screens resolution . Wordpress is based in php java script and there is no such light script or library thar allows the pdf to be generated with html . There are some pdf libraries in php but they just took so much of server resources and we have to skip the idea of the pdf . Now we are adding some templates in upcoming updates so that users can create their certificates easily but it still cannot control the margins in the print .December 30, 2015 at 4:39 pm #16196mcucattoParticipantAlex, so I'm not satisfied with the theme, as one of pricipais features would be the delivery of a well prepared certificate. Could you refund me the value? Thank you very much and I hope you understand me. Murillo Cucatto
