January 22, 2019 at 1:19 am #193284lorrainemollerParticipantI am totally confused. We want people to sign up and have 60 days to complete the course. They can do it in one day or 60. Each unit has it own set of quizzes (10 units, 10 quizzes). I can't figure out from any of your documentation or videos how to set the timing in the main settings or units and quizzes so that students can rush through or take their time. I need a couple of screen shots on how to set each of the three parts up, i.e. the main area, the course page itself as well as each of the 10 units and 10 quizzes.January 22, 2019 at 6:09 am #193299loganMember

Please note that the duration that shows just below the course button on single course page is not the calculated unit duration. Its the total course duration that you set in course settings : http://prntscr.com/maedeh
in above screenshot: user can access course and its content 60 days. the unit and quizzes duration is not included in it. **unit duration can be set from here http://prntscr.com/maefxk ** quiz duration is used to restrict the use to complete his / her within the given time limit. **To have course of unlimited duration change the duration parameter to " days with 4 times 9999".January 23, 2019 at 11:49 pm #193648lorrainemollerParticipantI don't have a frigging clue what you are showing me in the second screenshot : 10 seconds???? Who would set a unit or quiz to 10 second? Then you say set to 9999 are talking about the first screen shot of "Settings" or the second screenshot of "Curriculum Settings"? Now we have an even bigger problem. My web designer emailed you with all our details days ago as she and I have been struggling and the final course is not working at all. We did a test student and when you get to the course, not only does the side bar with all the instructions to work, submit, review do not show up. When you open a unit there is nothing to indicate your read it, the quizzes do not open at all! What a train wreck this template is. We are using WP Bakery and it has taken forever going from one section of the admin to another trying to figure out setting as your videos are all set for Elementor. She tells me you are not responding AT ALL to her emails. Do we have to scrap all the weeks of work and restart over with Elementor??? The emails came from Janet Shapan and the title of the email was DESPERATE. Which we are!! Tells us how to do this.January 24, 2019 at 2:14 am #193651lorrainemollerParticipantI personally did the part of creating each section one at a time after it was all created. I have not a clue what you mean by sorting or what we should do with each piece as for the duration settings. People should take their time and do each unit/chapter and its quiz as time permits. Again, we have 3 sections. SECTION 1 - The Course with any testing is entirely in Section 1. Section 1 has 10 Units and each Unit has its own quiz. Pretty simple The last two Sections of the course ....ONLY have a downloadable PDF attached for the student to download and use with their kids after they have finished the course. The last two sections have NO quizes and need no time periods of any kind.January 24, 2019 at 12:54 pm #193725loganMemberWell I do agree there are hell lot of settings to set and a new user would get confused . I read your scenario ,In your case you can simply neglect the unit durations . For quizzes set the duration as you want to . But for course : To implement the 60 days completion time (maximum time limit of course) .Simply set the course duration settings : https://prnt.sc/maedeh This was about your course duration problem . Elementor issue : Well we have already released an update of vibe-customtypes and vibe-shortcodes plugin for integration with elementor . PS : again would like to mention its just the course duration which is considered when it comes to provide access to user . We are set already at 60 days and user can get to the course, they just can't get it to activate and move through the units/quizzes. I keep saying this! And I keep getting answers back that are of ZERO help. Look for email title: A bit more ---- DESPERATE NEED YOUR HELP. VISUAL ..... Sent to: [email protected] on January 21, it has the string of our requests going back to January 15th as we kept having problems and adding to the issues. In this email are our FTP and WP Login. Though our account you can see our API that we have already provided you as well and when we updated and paid for more support. My designer is so upset, she is about to start all over and as a 10 years a client of Themeforest with several hundred clients, she is about to do some scathing reviews if we do not hear from you! The support staff clearly mentioned how to fix this. Your responses clearly indicate that you were in a hurry that you never even clarified. I see your arguments on 10 seconds unit, it is an example, you can set unit duration and parameter from seconds to minutes or hours, the select box is clearly visible. We never ever recommend using emails for support which is clearly mentioned in item support section : https://themeforest.net/item/wplms-learning-management-system/6780226/support Trust me all the settings are right there in front of your course.
