July 31, 2019 at 12:39 am #220483hanineSpectatorDear support team, I have an issue with the push notification plugin that's not working properly and giving an error in console : "Error during service worker registration: DOMException" The configuration of the firebase was done correctly. WPLMS push notification plugin version is 1.1 Notification allowed from browser, BuddyPress and Touch Points settings. The configuration on the live tab was also done according to steps in the plugin instructions "knowledge base" (and also the character "\" added at the end of each line in private key was removed), then the database was generated correctly and rules were applied as should in database. The issue comes when we reload the live page (backend and on every front-end page) there are 2 issues that appear in the console https://prnt.sc/om8k1r To see the service that couldn't be registered (function "registerValidSW(swUrl)" ) I added a console.log in the wplms-pn-admin.js to retrun the value of "swUrl" and this is what was returned in console (with a label "test:") https://prnt.sc/om8kyp I tried to send a notification from a course admin in front-end (option activated from settings of push notification) and the loading class of the button is there and the script is not executed fully until the position where the loading class is removed, here's the screen shot of elements and console : https://prnt.sc/om8lvp https://prnt.sc/om8m67 Can you please provide any help to ensure this is working properly ? Thank you in advance.August 1, 2019 at 2:52 pm #220746Anshuman SahuKeymasterThis reply has been marked as private.August 1, 2019 at 3:22 pm #220757hanineSpectatorHi Alex, Thank you for your answer. To make sure this redirect is coming from somewhere else in the site or from the push notification plugin, I deactivated the plugin and the redirect error disappeared. So the redirection itself is coming from the push notification plugin apparently. https://prnt.sc/on1sxfAugust 1, 2019 at 3:28 pm #220761hanineSpectatorThis reply has been marked as private.August 5, 2019 at 4:25 am #221028hanineSpectatorThis reply has been marked as private.August 5, 2019 at 3:19 pm #221150Anshuman SahuKeymasteryes the redirect error is coming from push notifications plugin as this error indicates that there is some kind of redirect implemented on the url : https://acces.goodbyecomfort.zone/firebase-messaging-sw.js or on the main domain : https://acces.goodbyecomfort.zone which is why the issue is appearing .August 5, 2019 at 6:31 pm #221172hanineSpectatorThis reply has been marked as private.August 5, 2019 at 6:35 pm #221173hanineSpectatorThis reply has been marked as private.August 7, 2019 at 2:11 pm #221461Anshuman SahuKeymasterYes I see that the file is accessible now from new host . ThanksAugust 16, 2019 at 12:05 pm #222629Anshuman SahuKeymasterNope I dont think that might help .It actually related to firebase itself . They have changed something in their core which is affecting . We are researching on this but we suspect that the issue is actually related to http to https ,we are also using cloudflare for https service.
