February 1, 2016 at 10:59 am #23819SamirSpectatorHi Mr vibes, This is the first issue I have encountered after update, when I click on courses I see a blank. Kindly treat as urgent,as this site's ad campaign is already live and it's unprofessional and embarrassing that when potential customers click on courses they see a blank.I also hope we don't encounter other problems with this update. P.S here is the site Here Thanks.February 1, 2016 at 11:46 am #23861k18febSpectatorHi Sameer, I am also facing same issue. Check right sidebar of this page for latest version. If the above does not help, please share site url as well as admin credentials to check the issue.February 1, 2016 at 3:40 pm #24056SamirSpectatorI have tried both options, didn't resolve it. Here is the site admin credentials. Most likely the issue is with your BP Social connect settings, I can see you've simply enabled Facebook, Google and Twitter settings without entering the Social network keys, which is really not recommended. refer screenshot Issue 2 : Blank course page issue. This issue is related to server cache. It seems you've installed the plugin w3 total cache and deactivated it. But it could be that server cache was not cleared properly, while clearing the cache multiple times I was able to get the course page but it did not load the styles or the scripts which indicates it has to do something with server cache. Please check this topic for more details and Why you should never enable page caching for dynamic sites. You may also want to contact your web host to help you out with clearing server cache. Both the pointed issues are not connected to the theme update. Can you confirm if the issues came afyer the update. If not then we would like to move this topic to other issues section.February 3, 2016 at 1:09 pm #24894SamirSpectatorHello Mr Vibes, Here is an update on this issue... 1.You have failed to inteprete the question properly, our login works fine for both logged in and logged out users. The BP social login is something we fiddled with 2 days ago just to see what it looks like not sure we will be implementing it on our login for now. What was asked was specifically for forums ,we want non-loggedin in users to view our forums(just like wplms support forums) but will be prompted to login when they want to comment. 2.We cleared the cache with no improvements, still a blank course view. This confirms the issue is not from our end(or our server end). However in an effort to troubleshoot further,we downgraded to 1.9 in order to trace the issue. With this effort ,the course view worked(without the curriculum pages/course description). However we couldn't access the login button(it was unresponsive). This could be a compatibility issue as all plugins are updated. So preliminarily the blank course view is an update issue. The next action is to upgrade back to 2.0 to see what happens with the course view and we will get back to you guys Mr vibes. Thank you .February 3, 2016 at 5:19 pm #25019SamirSpectatorUpdate After numerous tests,we are certain this is an update issue. We upgraded again to Version 2.0.1 WPLMS and have returned to the very first issue of blank courses. You already have our site credentials, perhaps you should take another look as we have done everything on our side to rectify the issue without success. Please treat as urgent,we have clients already waiting to commence their trainings on our website and our business is suffering a huge set back both financially and integrity wise. Thanks Again for your anticipated solution .February 4, 2016 at 10:03 am #25240MrVibeKeymasterok, 1. Forums, require login to comment : This is the default behaviour of BBPress. Are you suggesting anything specific, like a login popup ? 2. Checking again...February 4, 2016 at 10:11 am #25243MrVibeKeymasterwould need fTP credentials to further dig this issue. Please Share FTP credentials of your server as well.February 4, 2016 at 10:32 am #25250SamirSpectator1.We might drop the idea, but it was considered from a marketing perspective as forum activities might draw in new users via wanting to comment on topics of that interest them. 2. Login FTP credentials. Login: macaranta.com/cpanel User name:macaranta Password:frBz!feLC=7Q Thanks.February 4, 2016 at 10:33 am #25251SamirSpectatorFTP credentials in the private reply above.
