i have set my course to grant unlimited time to students to access, since 2.0 update it has downgraded my students to a number of months. how can i fix it so all students are enrolled for unlimited time?

Well this is only visible to the admin. You can extend the subcription of your students again to show the unlimited again and this time please try "999999" days to make sure that the time cannot become lesser than 9999 days for the students in course .

The Course Expiry time is set individually for every student. So you need to extend it for every student who is facing this issue. Check the Course - Admin - Extend subscription area and select the users and extend their subscriptions. reference :
