    Hi there: Following your instructions on changing the blog template, however unable to do so. IN the Blog Page, there is no option for Template? I am using WPLMS 2.0+ with Blank Child Theme

    This is the default WordPress functionality so as such it cannot be removed. Make sure you are not registering new post type with name "page". Refer these below links : https://wordpress.org/support/topic/missing-page-template-dropdown-menu-back-again

    Well, the original blog it seems had index.php template.....I am able to delete the original and create a new "blog" page with the new template and it works now.
