Assignment submission

Hello is it possible to hide this --> ( reference : https://imgur.com/LyIuJrS      )automatically if the student already uploaded the assignment? .. because currently, they keep uploading assignment whenever they want, they resubmitting assignment many times. we want to avoid that. they only allow to resubmit if we reset their assignment. but currently, we cannot find that setup or maybe we are doing it wrong. we want that when students upload assignments, they can only upload once unless we reset the particular assignment to reupload again. I hope you understand the trouble we are having because they keep uploading and we don't know which one the correct one now   thanks
